Farewell, Intensives #1!

Good morning readers,

This morning concludes the first Farm Arts, Rock Farm, and Endless Mountains Dance Camp intensive sessions of the summer. Here at Ballibay, we call this a transition weekend, because it means we will be saying goodbye to a group of campers and welcoming new ones into our cabins and program areas.

I think that most of the campus community is feeling pretty bittersweet today. I know that I for one have to say goodbye to three wonderful campers from my cabin and I know it's going to be hard! The great things that they have accomplished in the past two weeks and the way that I've really grown attached to them makes today a little sad, but at the same time I still have a cast of phenomenal kids who I get to see and work with every day for the rest of the week as we get ready to produce our musical together. I know that the next week is going to be very busy and exciting!

Again, a huge congratulations to the Farm Arts' Art Exhibit and Installation Piece, the Rock Farm's Band Night, and the Endless Mountains' Dance Concert. We've had a great first two weeks of camp!

More soon,
Elizabeth C., Ballibay Blogger
